UPS discounts for ecommerce stores

Lower UPS and FedEx rates for online stores. Keep Shopify or ShipStation. No monthly fee.

Why ecommerce stores overpay UPS

A UPS discount for ecommerce fails in a specific way. The store is on list rates, or on a platform rate that looked fine at ten orders a day, and the mix is residential. Residential delivery, delivery-area surcharges, and dimensional weight on mailers and small boxes are the lines that grow with order count.

The Shipping Savers prices UPS and FedEx for that mix. You keep the storefront. You do not take on a monthly shipping subscription from us. The fee is one cent per label, included in the price.

Ground and 2-day are the ecommerce pair

Most stores promise a standard service that Ground can hit inside a region and that 2-day air has to cover past a certain zone. Overnight is the exception, not the catalog. A useful comparison splits the invoice into those three buckets before anyone talks about an average saving.

We do not publish sample Ground and 2-day prices for 'a typical store.' Your zones and your box sizes are the price. Send the export. If you want the service definitions first, read ground and 2-day air.

What stays in your stack

  • Shopify, WooCommerce, or another store keeps the order.
  • ShipStation, if you use it, keeps the label. The rate shows on the order, including third-party billing.
  • You do not have to re-platform to see whether the account is cheaper.
  • The full ecommerce page is ecommerce shipping.

An ecommerce UPS file, split the way the bill actually works

Split Ground, 2-day, and overnight before any average. Stores that promise 'fast shipping' often buy 2-day on zones where Ground would have hit the promise, and overnight on zones where 2-day would have. That is a rules problem. We will show it if the dates and zones are in the export.

Residential percentage matters more than the store's brand. A wholesale store that also has a Shopify site has two businesses in one login. Price them separately.

Returns: if you pay return labels, add them. An outbound discount that ignores a free-returns policy is not the cost of the order.

Keep ShipStation or whatever prints the label. The test is the price on the same order, not a new warehouse system.

How it works

  1. Send a recent UPS or FedEx invoice, or a shipment export with ZIP codes, service, weight, dimensions and charges.
  2. We compare the same packages and the same service. The price you see is the label price.
  3. If the numbers work, you ship with UPS or FedEx on our account. Our fee is one cent per label, already included. There is no monthly fee and no contract.

What you pay us

The Shipping Savers fee is $0.01 per purchased label. It is already inside the price on the label. We do not add a monthly membership. Carrier charges, residential fees, fuel, delivery-area fees and other accessorials are part of that label price, not a second bill from us. Read the pricing page for the full explanation.

The only published before-and-after figure on this site is one real shipment: a 10 lb UPS Next Day Air package, 10 × 10 × 10 inches, New York to Los Angeles. It was $35.75 before and $16.78 with The Shipping Savers. That is not a rate for your lane. Your price comes from your own file.

Shopify and ShipStation

You can keep the software you already use to take orders. Shopify stays the store. ShipStation can stay the place where the team buys labels. On ShipStation, our Chrome add-on shows the rate next to the order, including when the order uses third-party billing. See discounted rates inside ShipStation and Shopify shipping rates.

Questions

Does this work with Shopify and ShipStation?

Yes. Shopify can stay the store. ShipStation can stay the label screen. The add-on shows our rate next to the ShipStation order, including third-party billing.

Are returns included in the conversation?

Returns are part of the ecommerce bill. Tell us whether you pay return labels. We will not pretend outbound Ground is the whole cost if returns are half the invoice.

Is there a contract, monthly fee, or minimum volume?

No contract, no monthly fee, and no minimums. The only fee from The Shipping Savers is one cent per label, and it is already included in the price you see.

Do the packages still ship with UPS and FedEx?

Yes. The same UPS and FedEx services, drivers, and tracking. What changes is the account the label is priced on.

How do I get a real price?

Send a recent invoice or a shipment export. We price your packages. We do not publish a table of sample lanes, because a lane that is not yours is not your price.
