How the one cent works
The Shipping Savers pricing is one number. Our service fee is $0.01 per purchased label. It is already included in the label price you are shown. We do not send a software invoice at the end of the month, and we do not add the cent as a second line at checkout.
There is no contract to sign with us, and there is no minimum number of labels. If you buy a label, the price on that label is the price. If you do not, you do not owe a membership.
What is included
- A comparison against a recent UPS or FedEx invoice or shipment export.
- UPS and FedEx service on our account when the comparison works.
- The ShipStation add-on, so the rate shows on the order, including third-party billing.
- Phone and email support at (323) 538-3022 and mark@theshippingsavers.com.
Your own account versus our account
Some businesses already have a UPS or FedEx contract. Some have never been offered one that was worth signing. Shipping through The Shipping Savers means the label is priced on our UPS or FedEx account. You are not negotiating that contract yourself. You are not paying us a percent of savings. You are paying the label price, which includes our one cent.
If your current contract is already better on your mix, the invoice comparison will show that. We would rather you see it before you switch than after.
The published example is one real label: 10 lb, 10 × 10 × 10 inches, UPS Next Day Air, New York to Los Angeles, $35.75 before and $16.78 after. It is an example of a label price, not a price list. About the company.
What the price is not
It is not a percent of savings. We do not invoice you for '40% of what you saved.' The label price is the price, and our cent is inside it.
It is not a monthly seat. Adding a warehouse user does not add a software bill from us.
It is not a waiver of carrier fees. Fuel, residential, delivery area, and handling are still real. They are inside the label, where you can see them, instead of inside a membership you cannot.
It is not the $16.78 example applied to every box. That figure is one UPS Next Day Air shipment. Ground to the next state will not match it, and we will not pretend it will.
How it works
- Send a recent UPS or FedEx invoice, or a shipment export with ZIP codes, service, weight, dimensions and charges.
- We compare the same packages and the same service. The price you see is the label price.
- If the numbers work, you ship with UPS or FedEx on our account. Our fee is one cent per label, already included. There is no monthly fee and no contract.
What you pay us
The Shipping Savers fee is $0.01 per purchased label. It is already inside the price on the label. We do not add a monthly membership. Carrier charges, residential fees, fuel, delivery-area fees and other accessorials are part of that label price, not a second bill from us. Read the pricing page for the full explanation.
The only published before-and-after figure on this site is one real shipment: a 10 lb UPS Next Day Air package, 10 × 10 × 10 inches, New York to Los Angeles. It was $35.75 before and $16.78 with The Shipping Savers. That is not a rate for your lane. Your price comes from your own file.
Shopify and ShipStation
You can keep the software you already use to take orders. Shopify stays the store. ShipStation can stay the place where the team buys labels. On ShipStation, our Chrome add-on shows the rate next to the order, including when the order uses third-party billing. See discounted rates inside ShipStation and Shopify shipping rates.
Questions
Is the one cent added at checkout?
No. If the label shows $15.50, you pay $15.50. The cent is already inside that figure.
Are there setup fees?
No setup fee and no monthly membership. You pay the label price when you buy a label.
Is there a contract, monthly fee, or minimum volume?
No contract, no monthly fee, and no minimums. The only fee from The Shipping Savers is one cent per label, and it is already included in the price you see.
Do the packages still ship with UPS and FedEx?
Yes. The same UPS and FedEx services, drivers, and tracking. What changes is the account the label is priced on.
How do I get a real price?
Send a recent invoice or a shipment export. We price your packages. We do not publish a table of sample lanes, because a lane that is not yours is not your price.
