Discounted rates on the order you already have open
ShipStation discounted UPS rates are useless if the team has to leave the order to see them. The Shipping Savers add-on is a Chrome extension. It shows our UPS and FedEx prices beside the ShipStation order, before anyone buys the label.
That includes orders set to third-party billing. In that mode the usual rate box often shows nothing useful. The add-on still shows our price. The short version is the third-party billing extension.
What third-party billing means here
Third-party billing means the label is charged to another UPS or FedEx account. Marketplaces, brands, and some customers require it. The warehouse stays in ShipStation. The comparison price is what goes missing. The extension puts a price back on the screen so the team can choose.
Install is one key, not a project. We still start with an invoice so the rates match the packages you ship, not a demo box.
Install steps
- Send a recent invoice. We compare real packages first.
- Install the Chrome add-on and paste the activation key.
- Open a ShipStation order, including one on third-party billing. The rates are on that order.
- The fee is one cent per label, included. There is no monthly fee. The carrier is still UPS or FedEx.
What the ShipStation team should expect
The add-on does not replace ShipStation. Orders, presets, and automation stay. The new piece is a price beside the order you already opened.
Third-party billing is the case people write to us about, because the native rate box goes quiet. Test the add-on on one of those orders first, not only on an order billed to your own account.
Activation is one key after the invoice comparison. We do not turn on a screen full of rates that were never checked against your packages.
The cent is in the price on that screen. There is no monthly line for the extension. If you stop buying labels, you stop paying us.
How it works
- Send a recent UPS or FedEx invoice, or a shipment export with ZIP codes, service, weight, dimensions and charges.
- We compare the same packages and the same service. The price you see is the label price.
- If the numbers work, you ship with UPS or FedEx on our account. Our fee is one cent per label, already included. There is no monthly fee and no contract.
What you pay us
The Shipping Savers fee is $0.01 per purchased label. It is already inside the price on the label. We do not add a monthly membership. Carrier charges, residential fees, fuel, delivery-area fees and other accessorials are part of that label price, not a second bill from us. Read the pricing page for the full explanation.
The only published before-and-after figure on this site is one real shipment: a 10 lb UPS Next Day Air package, 10 × 10 × 10 inches, New York to Los Angeles. It was $35.75 before and $16.78 with The Shipping Savers. That is not a rate for your lane. Your price comes from your own file.
Shopify and ShipStation
You can keep the software you already use to take orders. Shopify stays the store. ShipStation can stay the place where the team buys labels. On ShipStation, our Chrome add-on shows the rate next to the order, including when the order uses third-party billing. See discounted rates inside ShipStation and Shopify shipping rates.
Questions
Does it work with ShipStation third-party billing?
Yes. The rate still shows next to the order when the label is billed to another UPS or FedEx account.
What do we install?
The Chrome add-on, once, and a single activation key. There is no monthly fee for the add-on.
Is there a contract, monthly fee, or minimum volume?
No contract, no monthly fee, and no minimums. The only fee from The Shipping Savers is one cent per label, and it is already included in the price you see.
Do the packages still ship with UPS and FedEx?
Yes. The same UPS and FedEx services, drivers, and tracking. What changes is the account the label is priced on.
How do I get a real price?
Send a recent invoice or a shipment export. We price your packages. We do not publish a table of sample lanes, because a lane that is not yours is not your price.
